About The Position

The Project Management Senior role will be part of the Architecture and Engineering team within the Multifamily Technology and Operational Risk Division. The position will be primarily responsible for leading Risk Governance initiatives for our Architecture and Engineering teams. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting the successful delivery of multifamily projects. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in risk management, project leadership, and stakeholder engagement within architectural and engineering environments. The Multi Family Architecture and Engineering team is responsible for partnering with different product delivery areas, driving innovation and delivering high-quality Multifamily developments that shape communities. Through robust risk governance, we safeguard our projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred.
  • 5 - 7 years of professional related experience in project management with a focus on business and strategy.
  • Strong knowledge of Project delivery and Regulatory landscape.
  • Proven track record in risk assessment, mitigation, and compliance.
  • Ability to support multiple concurrent high priority projects in various capacities.
  • Strong verbal and written skills, including the ability to facilitate effective meetings and to develop and deliver presentations/materials to various levels of audiences.
  • Project management experience using standard project management tools; collecting, writing, and maintaining requirements; maintaining action item, issue, and risk logs; managing reporting and facilitation of effective project team meetings.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).
  • Ability to work independently while driving and managing assignments from concept through deployment/launch.

  • Prior mortgage industry experience highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Multifamily risk governance activities across Architecture and Engineering teams, ensuring all scoped work is delivered and internal controls are adhered to throughout the process.
  • Develop and execute risk management plans for multifamily projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
  • Lead risk workshops and training for Architecture and Engineering staff.
  • Monitor risk exposure and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Foster a culture of proactive risk management and continuous improvement.
