About The Position

The Project Manager - Sensors manages and steers local projects of medium budget, complexity, risk, and strategic significance, with full responsibility. The role plans, tracks, and achieves internal and external project, quality, timing, and commercial targets. It monitors project status and workflow, interprets internal and external information, and determines measures when targets or specifications change or deviations occur, ensuring alignment with relevant stakeholders.

The position executes engineering change management with a focus on profit and loss, steering change evaluation, approval, and implementation. It challenges the project team to identify effective solutions for HELLA and its customers and actively drives positive change opportunities. The Project Manager escalates deviations early, presents alternative solutions with project stakeholders, identifies problems, and requests management support as needed. The role also conducts customer project meetings in line with agreed quality, cost, and schedule targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience with products involving hardware and software.
• Proven engineering background.

• Execute engineering change management with a focus on profit and loss; steer change evaluation, approval, and implementation.
• Challenge the project team to find effective solutions for HELLA and the customer, and actively drive positive change opportunities.
• Escalate deviations from targets proactively and early, present alternative solutions with relevant project stakeholders, identify problems, and request management support to resolve issues.
• Conduct project meetings with clients based on agreed quality, cost, and scheduling targets.
