About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Spring & Summer 2027 Project Manager / Scrum Master Co-op to support the County of San Diego Contract from January 2027 through August 2027. As Project Manager / Scrum Master Co-op students will keep software delivery teams moving by supporting sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and Kanban boards. You'll help teams deliver County projects on time and gain hands-on experience in Agile program delivery. Peraton is the County of San Diego's IT and telecommunications partner, supporting the technology that County departments rely on to serve more than 3 million residents, from public health and social services to public safety and libraries. As a intern/co-op on the CoSD program, you'll work alongside Peraton professionals on real projects that modernize County services, including emerging work applying AI to how software is designed, built, and delivered.

Requirements

US Citizenship
HS Diploma and some advanced level training.
Current undergrad or graduate student who has completed progress or pursuing a degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban principles
Strong organization skills
Comfort facilitating meetings and tracking action items

Nice To Haves

Scrum certification (PSM I or CSM) or CAPM
Experience with JIRA or ServiceNow
Team leadership experience through student organizations, capstone projects, or work
Exposure to software development projects

Responsibilities
