About The Position

This position is the primary point of accountability to Business partners and other parties for the management and implementation of small to medium sized Projects and/or small Programs that support achievement of simple to moderately complex unit or corporate goals. This role is distinctly a business-side project management role — not a technology or IT delivery role. The position is responsible for driving business readiness, stakeholder alignment, and adoption of outcomes that directly support SC strategic objectives and goals.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of project management experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5 years of project management experience.
  • Experience managing others and/or project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Controls planning and execution of the Projects activities and resources to ensure that established cost, time, and quality goals are met.
  • Works with moderate supervision and is responsible for applying Project Management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to Project deliverables, processes, and systems in order to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations.
  • Operates within defined parameters using a proven Project Management Methodology with flexibility to merge different methodologies in accomplishing collective goals.
  • Works closely with the Strategy, Planning, and Execution (SP&E) team and Small Commercial staff to outline strategic opportunities and partner on related project/communication plans.
  • Drives initiative shaping and roadmap development for assigned project/programs to ensure the work to achieve the business outcomes is effectively grouped and sequenced, and timing, sizing, relationships and dependencies are understood.
  • Manage team development, actively mentors member of the PM community.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
