About The Position

Leidos is seeking a Project Manager who will support a large, multi-year contract providing Timing and Synchronization to Department of Defense. The work that's being done on this Leidos-led prime contract is extremely important and offers its team members the opportunity to work autonomously and explore new technologies. Requirements

  • Proven ability to interface effectively with multiple functional and programmatic areas, balancing and communicating competing priorities.
  • Requires a BA degree and 8 to 12 years of prior relevant experience or master’s degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective, constructive working relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong understanding of defense systems integration, mission operations, communications systems, cybersecurity, or related technical domains.
  • Strong planning, organizational and execution skills able to balance across multiple priorities.
  • Has expert knowledge of industry practices, advanced techniques, and solutions within a professional discipline to develop new standards, processes, and solutions.
  • Twice per week minimum onsite requirement as required.
  • Currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hands-on experience managing specific technical implementation projects
  • PMP certification
  • ITIL certificate
  • Prior DISA experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide full support to the customer on multiple, simultaneous tasks.
  • Manage the evolution of the CTD satellite capability, including Two-way satellite Time transfer modems, Military code compliance, GPS and related trunks/circuits (including the provisioning of these circuits as needed).
  • Manage PM triad of cost, schedule, performance, scope and risks.
  • Lead large teams in fast-paced operational environments.
  • Train other personnel in technology as needed.
  • Travel to customer locations as needed for government meetings.
