About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Residential Construction Project Manager to join a growing residential investment and renovation company serving the Baltimore metropolitan area. This leadership role is responsible for managing residential construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has a strong background managing residential renovations, remodels, or new home construction, with proven success coordinating subcontractors, controlling budgets, and driving projects to completion. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience in residential construction, remodeling, or home renovation.
  • Proven experience managing single-family homes, residential remodels, or investment property rehabilitation projects.
  • Strong understanding of residential construction practices, scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Experience managing multiple active projects while meeting deadlines and budget goals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Direct project management experience is required; project coordinator experience alone is not sufficient.
  • Residential construction experience is required. Candidates with only commercial construction backgrounds will not be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Manage residential renovation and construction projects from preconstruction through final completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, inspectors, and homeowners throughout each project.
  • Perform regular site visits to monitor quality, safety, productivity, and schedule adherence.
  • Identify and resolve project issues, delays, and field challenges.
  • Review project costs, approve invoices, manage change orders, and maintain budget performance.
  • Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
  • Provide regular project updates, milestone reporting, and risk assessments to leadership.
  • Assist with material procurement, scheduling, and project closeout documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and project partners.
