Project Manager - Rebar
About The Position
Responsible for overseeing the execution of rebar projects from the set-up phase through completion. This role involves total contract management, including coordination of detailing, scheduling, delivery, and costs of products and services. The Project Manager will oversee the customer and project team in establishing sequential steps for all project processes, adapting schedules and work tasks accordingly. They will communicate with customers regarding project details, review rebar shop drawings, and schedule detailing and delivery with contractors, detailers, and the production team. The role also includes answering customer questions, resolving problems, and performing special projects as needed.
Requirements
- BS/BA in a related discipline OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
- Microsoft 365 - specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineer, Construction Management, related degree and/or equivalent work experience.
- 3 + years of project management experience including 1 + year of construction project management experience.
- Ability to read & understand structural & architectural drawings.
Responsibilities

- Oversee the customer and project team in establishing the sequential steps involved in all processes with the scope of the project and adapt schedules and work tasks accordingly.
- Communicate with customers regarding project details involving detailing, fabrication and delivery issues.
- Review rebar shop drawings and direct the revision of drawings as needed.
- Schedule the detailing and delivery of required products and services with the contractor, detailers, and production team.
- Answer customer questions related to assigned projects and resolve any problems that may occur.
- Perform special projects and complete all other duties as assigned or requested for the support of the organization.
