About The Position

The Project Manager, Product Initiatives position owns delivery of Armstrong's product roadmap, from signed-off business requirements to launch. This role sits between Marketing & Strategy, Product, IT, Engineering, Field Operations and outside vendors. Product owners set the what and why; the Project Manager makes sure it gets done: plans are realistic, dependencies are visible, requirements stay current and launches land on the dates we commit to. You will run multiple initiatives at once across video, broadband, Wi-Fi, mobile and voice, many sharing the same constrained IT, vendor and field resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of project or program management, including multiple projects with shared resources at once.
  • Experience writing and managing business requirements (BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria) and running change control.
  • Proven record of cross-functional launches involving IT, operations and outside vendors.
  • Strong skills in Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira or similar tools, plus Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Clear written and spoken communication, including concise status reporting to executives.
  • Ability to present complex concepts clearly and confidently to large audiences and senior leadership.
  • Comfort holding peers and vendors accountable without direct authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in cable, broadband, telecom or another subscription service business.
  • Familiarity with video platforms, DOCSIS/fiber, Wi-Fi hardware, billing/provisioning systems, or MVNO operations.
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, CSM or similar certification.
  • Experience with pricing, packaging or product launches in consumer markets.

Responsibilities

  • Keep the product initiatives roadmap as the single source of truth: owner, dependencies, constraints, milestones and status for every initiative.
  • Build and maintain project plans for each initiative, with clear scope, milestones, owners and go/no-go criteria.
  • Map and manage dependencies across projects, e.g. pricing alignment before a new product introduction.
  • Plan around company moratoriums (holiday and Super Bowl change freezes) and flag conflicts early.
  • Secure and schedule shared resources (IT, provisioning, billing, network engineering, field technicians) and escalate when capacity puts dates at risk.
  • Coordinate vendors and any third-party partners on deliverables, contracts, inventory and release timelines.
  • Run launch readiness: training, care and sales scripts, marketing handoffs, pilots and employee trials, and post-launch hypercare.
  • Facilitate discovery with product owners and stakeholders; draft and refine Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
  • Maintain requirements through the lifecycle: version control, change requests, sign-offs and traceability from requirement to test to launch.
  • Turn business requirements into work IT, engineering and vendors can act on, with acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and confirm launched features match approved requirements.
  • Run a weekly initiative review with owners; publish a concise status report for leadership (on track / at risk / blocked).
  • Keep RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, decisions) and drive issues to closure.
  • Run post-launch retrospectives and improve PM templates and processes over time.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • collaborative culture built on trust
