WSP is seeking a Project Manager, Power & Energy for its Power & Energy Program Management Office. The role involves providing technical project supervision and guidance in managing the administrative, commercial, and technical components of assigned projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance of moderately sized/complex projects, overseeing financial, technical, client satisfaction, quality, safety, and schedule aspects. This includes ensuring adherence to responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle, from proposal phase to closeout, and maintaining quality standards that meet or exceed corporate expectations for safety, execution, profitability, and operational purpose. The role also involves overseeing and monitoring cross-functional teams, managing project proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans, and developing work breakdown structures. Establishing technical review levels, contributing to margin analyses, and coordinating technical aspects of contract negotiation are also key functions. The Project Manager will develop and update project initiation documentation, participate in kick-off meetings, and collaborate with Project Accounting to monitor project metrics. Responsibilities include overseeing budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, cost and change management, supporting integrated project controls, coordinating resource and subcontracting requirements, and escalating health & safety or client issues. The role also entails participating in problem project reviews, providing regular project reporting, coordinating with various stakeholders, monitoring accounts receivable, closing out procurements, and completing formal project closeout activities, including lessons-learned meetings. Maintaining current knowledge of Project Management techniques and practices, and exercising responsible and ethical decision-making are also expected.
