BLUE ORIGINLos Angeles, WA
$102,721 - $156,883Onsite

About The Position

This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin’s Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface. At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. To this end, our first MK1 Lunar Lander christened “Endurance” will be the largest and most complex vehicle ever to land on the moon. Our second MK1 will continue humanity’s exploration of the Lunar south pole by delivering NASA’s VIPER rover. NASA recently selected Blue Origin to fly 2 more MK1 landers to deliver Lunar Terrain Vehicles. Executing these complex missions requires the “right” amount of cost and schedule planning and management. As a Program Planning and Controls Project Manager within the Program Management Operations (PMO) team you will be responsible for facilitating the optimal schedule management of several Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Partnering with the IPT Leads and their subject matter experts, you will establish and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for the teams you support including the coordination and collection of status updates, tracking schedule and project performance, and delivering actionable metrics and insights to leadership. As a frontline member of the Program Management team you will also act on the metrics and insights you develop, engaging with your IPTs to ensure they resolve their schedule drivers to deliver our work to the moon faster and more efficiently. Your work will accelerate humanity's exploration of the Lunar surface and the development of infrastructure there for the benefit of Earth.
