About The Position

The Project Manager Plant will lead local projects, taking responsibility for deadlines, costs, quality, and other project-specific aspects within a defined framework. This role involves controlling and monitoring cost development, coordinating customer communications, issuing KPI reports, and reporting project status to management. The Project Manager will also define plant-level deadlines, monitor project progress, and coordinate customer audits. Additionally, the role includes conducting 'lessons learned' sessions, participating in continuous improvement of project processes, assuming escalation responsibility, and controlling the change management process.

Requirements

  • Experience in project management.
  • Ability to control and monitor cost development.
  • Skills in coordinating customer communications and project-related documents.
  • Experience in issuing KPI reports and reporting project status.
  • Proficiency in defining deadlines and monitoring project progress.
  • Familiarity with milestone schedules (APQP).
  • Experience in planning and coordinating customer audits.
  • Ability to conduct 'lessons learned' sessions and contribute to process improvement.
  • Understanding of escalation processes.
  • Experience in controlling change management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead local projects, ensuring responsibility for deadlines, costs, quality, and other project-specific aspects within a defined framework.
  • Control and monitor cost development (actual vs. planned costs) for tools, machines, production, purchased parts, and R&D costs.
  • Coordinate customer communications and project-related documents with the project team.
  • Issue KPI reports and report project status to the disciplinary and functional Manager.
  • Define plant-level deadlines in coordination with the project team.
  • Monitor and document project progress based on the milestone schedule (APQP).
  • Plan and coordinate project-specific customer audits in the plant during relevant project phases.
  • Conduct 'lessons learned' sessions and participate in the continuous improvement of project processes.
  • Assume escalation responsibility according to the defined escalation process.
  • Control the change management process within the project team.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
