About The Position

The Project Manager, People Plan (Bowen) is responsible for managing the implementation of the CN Bowen People Strategy to include, the management of CN Bowen People partner relationships and provide oversight of the CN Bowen case management team to ensure CN Bowen resident advancement toward economic self-sufficiency.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in social work, public administration, community development or related field.
• Eight years of progressively responsible social services related experience to include: four (4) years of experience working with low-income individuals and/or families that address and remove barriers to self-sufficiency; and four (4) years of experience managing social services programs and building external partnerships.
• Proven leader with excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated success managing teams with multiple duties and responsibilities.
• Congenial personality, excellent communication skills particularly with diverse populations, comfortable making public presentations.
• Ability to assess client human development needs and develop individual development plans in collaboration with clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and work productively with diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders, including contract and leverage partners.
• Demonstrated experience and proven success working with external partners to successfully advance grant initiatives.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage a wide array of tasks and projects with strong organizational/planning skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated experience and success working in partnership with local residents and community organizations on community engagement programs.
• Work requires demonstrated proficiency of current office technology software applications and demonstrated use of such technology applications on a regular basis.
• Must have and maintain a valid state of Georgia driver’s license and be fully insurable for the purpose of obtaining clearance on company “Authorized Drivers List.”
• Must be able to attend community meetings during evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Direct the implementation of the CN Bowen People Strategy focused on the CN objective of delivering services and supports to improve residents’ workforce, educational and health outcomes with a special focus on youth and their families.
• Manage CN Bowen Case Management team responsible for outreach, ongoing assessments, individual development planning, referrals to supportive service providers, coaching, counseling, retention and tracking achievement of HUD metrics and outcomes.
• Cultivate strong relationships with CN Bowen sub-grantees; monitor contracts to ensure compliance with contract provisions; review and approve monthly invoices for payment.
• Lead the coordination of CN Bowen resident events with partners such as job fairs, health seminars and education activities to support resident achievement of economic self-sufficiency.
• Coordinate and facilitate ongoing case management database trainings and provide technical assistance for CN departmental staff and external partners to effectively support the delivery of services, and to record resident progression in achieving their goals and Choice Neighborhoods desired outcomes.
• Work with CN Bowen People partners to ensure timely submission of reports and input of data into CaseWorthy software system; track and analyze performance management related to required achievement of HUD metrics for people strategies.
• Establish, and lead monthly collaborative meetings in coordination with CN Bowen health, education, and workforce partners.
• Collaborate with Director, Program Administration and Data Analyst on the People component of the HUD CN reporting requirements, particularly as it relates to achieving required metrics and outcomes, grant compliance requirements.
• Perform other special project duties as assigned.
