About The Position

Seeking a Project Manager to provide Owner Representation on the construction of a semiconductor plant and related infrastructure in Boise, ID. This role involves managing construction projects, ensuring safety and compliance, coordinating with stakeholders, and overseeing project documentation and progress.

Requirements

  • Field management experience, bachelor's degree, or experience working as a Foreman.
  • Experience in Semiconductor, Biopharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Mission Critical, or other Manufacturing industries.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and strong focus on accuracy.
  • Flexible and able to respond well to changing conditions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to schedule and host planning meetings with various stakeholders.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good understanding of construction project scheduling software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Manage environmental health and safety for suppliers onsite, including JHA inspections, PTP, and SIPP documentation.
  • Manage and supervise construction for facilities and construction projects, potentially handling several simultaneously.
  • Assess field and safety needs with project management staff.
  • Provide regular project updates to the project team and stakeholders via emails, photos, and conference calls.
  • Review daily project logs and assist with necessary corrections.
  • Provide design assistance and review at all design stages, and assist with design solutions during design and programming phases.
  • Monitor and maintain daily logs, job photos, and videos.
  • Schedule and attend project meetings, and prepare meeting minutes.
  • Assist with overall project scheduling.
  • Schedule and conduct project job walks with the team.
  • Coordinate trades in the field and ensure work plans are received and assessed.
  • Work with suppliers to facilitate the handling and expediting of material delivery.
  • Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
  • Meet daily with project crews to review the production schedule and confirm availability of materials, equipment, and resources.
  • Evaluate daily production, schedule, and budget projections to track project performance.
  • Initiate and manage appropriate certificates, inspections, project site markups (isolation plan, LOTO points, barricade plan, material flow plan, phasing plans), and other documentation regarding construction production.
  • Conduct required Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs) to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Coordinate subcontractor work methods, schedule, and crews.
  • Track and follow up on open items such as RFIs and Submittals.
  • Assist with and provide review of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and allowance utilizations.
  • Maintain strong working partnerships with general contractors and subcontractors.
  • Provide QA/QC of field installations, with weekly write-ups of correction notices to the general contractor.
  • Assist with change management and estimate review.
  • Review QA/QC reports from the General Contractor and ensure adherence to project specifications and requirements.
  • Become completely familiarized with all Project Plans and Specifications.
  • Preside over weekly contractor, OAC, design, and work progress meetings.
  • Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
  • Ensure the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
  • Assist with project closeout.
