Job Overview NYSERDA seeks an individual who is enthusiastic about advancing building decarbonization to join our Program Operations & Partnerships (POP) team and work on the Appliance Upgrade Program (AUP). As part of the Clean and Resilient Buildings business unit, this team engages with both the private and public sectors to increase the adoption of energy-efficient appliances through a retail point-of-sale (POS) program, along with supplementary electrical upgrades as necessary. The team works with a network of external Participating Retailers and Contractors, along with various federal, state, and local partner agencies and other internal NYSERDA teams. The Project Manager / Project Manager II will be responsible for managing all day-to-day project-related activities for the Appliance Upgrade Program as well as supervising implementation partners. This individual will also assist in planning and developing interventions and strategies that 1) enhance the customer, retailer, and contractor experience and 2) accelerate the scale and penetration of energy-efficient appliances in New York State. This individual will also be responsible for project management, reporting, budgeting, contract management, required analysis, and stakeholder engagement associated with the teams’ programs and other interventions introduced into the market, as applicable. The ideal candidate shall be comfortable working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. They will also have a relentless focus on execution and prioritization, be comfortable interacting with and seeking feedback from stakeholders, have high attention to detail, and have an internal drive to set and achieve personal and team goals.
