About The Position

The Project Manager, Nursing Practice, Senior serves as a clinical leader in a specialized area of nursing practice across HealthPartners. This role requires advanced clinical expertise, along with skills in evidence-based practice, education, mentorship, consultation, and change leadership. Focused on improving patient care, nursing practice, and organizational outcomes, this position supports patients across the continuum of care within a defined population. Key responsibilities include coordinating complex patient care, leading evidence-based initiatives, providing expert consultation, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. The role also involves developing tools such as clinical guidelines, protocols, nursing standing orders, and work standards to support safe and effective care delivery. Additionally, the Project Manager, Nursing Practice Senior, leads quality improvement efforts, drives innovation, and embeds evidence into everyday practice through leadership of committees and workgroups.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited program in Nursing (RN)
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • Three years of clinical nursing experience
  • Three years leadership experience (Experience in leadership roles, research utilization, staff development and/or interdisciplinary collaboration all acceptable)
  • Current Registered Nurse license in either the state of Minnesota or Wisconsin upon hire
  • Must obtain 2nd RN license within 30-days of hire
  • Both Minnesota and Wisconsin RN license must be maintained
  • Current BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in nursing, healthcare, education, or training and development
  • Membership in specialty professional organization
  • Certification in Nursing Professional Development (NPD-BC) and/or area of nursing specialty recognized by national certification body preferred. If not complete, prefer acquisition within 2 years.
