About The Position

Responsible for the development, tracking and execution of detailed launch plans for all new product launches; new molecules and line extensions from submission to launch. Provide expertise, direction and support to the key stakeholders throughout the Launch process. Collaborate with counterparts in Sales & Marketing, R&D and Operations, throughout the new product launch process to achieve on time in full successful launches.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent in Business and/or Science related field
  • PMP Certification or working towards
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skill
  • Strong understanding of ERP/SAP processes and master data
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of spread sheet, word processing and project management software
  • Strong decision-making, interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills
  • Strong understanding of the organizations business processes and supply chain
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or consumer packaged goods product launch process
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in project lead and or product launch role in pharmaceutical environment

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate highly developed project management skills by utilizing the tools, systems, methodologies and software to lead, plan, manage and execute all global launches at the molecule/SKU level across Apotex sites.
  • Serve in a senior role as the leader and primary contact for cross-functional teams across Apotex sites in the development of global launch plans at the SKU level from Submission to Launch for all markets in assigned portfolio.
  • Recommend, Escalate and Execute decisions regarding launch date changes and ensure alignment with R&D based on Intellectual Property, R&D and Sales & Marketing input.
  • Act as an expert resource by utilizing advanced analytical techniques to identify contentious issues and anticipate problems affecting the launch of a product.
  • Organize and facilitate site based product launch meetings. Communicate launch plans & priorities to functional departments throughout the supply chain on a timely basis.
  • Effectively utilize designated systems / applications to support launch success and for communication purposes. Responsible for updating and maintaining all systems databases required by the New Products Launch process.
  • Recommends and participates in the implementation of departmental and cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate and lead performance conversations with employees, including monthly one on ones, to connect on performance; check in on employee’s progress toward achieving Objectives, offer support and remove barriers; and, communicate and revisit performance expectations to reinforce and encourage high performance culture and a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Utilize open, honest, two way communication to build trust-based relationships with employees, business partners and direct leader while continuously improving leadership capabilities by personally seeking feedback and development.
