About The Position

Fehr Graham is seeking a motivated and experienced Municipal Project Manager in engineering or environmental engineering to ensure project success. The role involves providing essential technical guidance and administrative services for efficient, profitable, and timely project execution. The Project Manager will be the primary contact for clients, playing a key role in business development, proposal preparation, presentations, client relationship management, and public relations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Six (6) to ten (10) years of experience in municipal engineering and project management, ideally in a consulting environment.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required, or the ability to obtain licensure within the first year of employment.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to speak and write well with clients, stakeholders and internal teams.
Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Experience preparing proposals and supporting client presentations.
Motivated to grow professionally and take on larger projects and leadership responsibilities over time.

Responsibilities

Manage the design and execution of municipal infrastructure projects, including water, wastewater, stormwater, roadway and side development work.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, meeting scope, schedules and budgets.
Serve as the day-to-day client contact.
Build trust and maintain strong relationships with municipal leaders and staff.
Prepare proposals, cost estimates, reports and technical documentation.
Oversee permitting, regulatory coordination and quality assurance reviews.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
Support business development by identifying opportunities with current and prospective municipal clients.
