About The Position

The Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates the successful execution of commercial and mission-critical construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and project closeout. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and client expectations. The Project Manager develops a comprehensive understanding of assigned projects and works collaboratively with project teams, field leadership, clients, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to achieve project goals. This position requires strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, schedule-driven environments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience delivering commercial construction, industrial, infrastructure, or mission-critical projects.
  • Experience reading and interpreting complex construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
  • Experience supporting project procurement, scheduling, change management, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) project coordination.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders including owners, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, Autodesk Construction Cloud/PlanGrid, or similar construction management software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and project stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and mobile technology.
  • Up to 75% travel based on project assignments, including extended travel to mission-critical construction projects.
  • Travel schedules may include extended project assignments, rotational travel, and multi-week onsite support based on business needs.
  • Ability to travel regularly for project meetings, site visits, client meetings, commissioning activities, and project coordination.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel by air and automobile as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience delivering mission-critical, hyperscale data center, industrial, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, or similarly complex construction projects.
  • Experience managing project schedules, procurement activities, commissioning coordination, and project financial performance.
  • Experience utilizing estimating and takeoff software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.
  • Collaborative leadership style with a team-first mentality.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and project partners within the assigned market.
  • Participate in project estimating, constructability reviews, procurement planning, subcontractor evaluation, and vendor coordination.
  • Lead pre-construction meetings to ensure everyone involved in the project understands the complete scope while ensuring safety, quality and productions are being met.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to identify scope gaps, constructability concerns, and project risks.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all assigned projects and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build a collaborative working relationship with the Senior Project Manager and project team.
  • Lead day-to-day execution of assigned commercial and mission-critical construction projects from project kickoff through commissioning and closeout.
  • Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules while monitoring progress against key milestones and implementing recovery plans when necessary.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, field operations, commissioning, owners, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Manage project resources, manpower planning, equipment, procurement activities, and subcontractor performance.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, particularly those affecting critical-path activities, long-lead equipment, schedule, and project costs.
  • Administer project change management, including pricing, documentation, negotiation, and execution of change orders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all project information is communicated effectively while maintaining proactive communication with field leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular site visits and job walks to monitor project progress, safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.
  • Review WIP, project billings, forecasting, and financial performance with project leadership.
  • Coordinate with project teams and clients to resolve outstanding change orders, obtain project closeout documentation, and secure final payment within established timelines.
