As a Project Manager at pH7, you will dive into a variety of early development initiatives that drive both business growth and cutting-edge emerging technologies, including heap-based processing for the recovery of critical metal projects. This role involves collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, including leadership, engineers, external vendors, and government and regulatory agencies, to ensure that the commercial and strategic objectives of a project are met, and that standards, processes, and procedures are applied effectively across the development and execution phases of a project.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with mining project development and investment frameworks.
  • Engineering degree (Metallurgical, Mechanical, or Civil disciplines preferred) or relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience in front-end project development and execution (10+ years).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, internal and external, including EPCM/EPC.

Responsibilities

  • Interface management between internal and external project stakeholders to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.
  • Act as opportunity lead in the early stages of project development and the definition of minimum performance requirements.
  • Provide project leadership, support, technical input, and decision-making as required, through: Commercial development, Stakeholder engagement, Regulatory, Design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and start-up, Performance testing and close-out
  • Lead meetings with internal and external parties, at the office and on-site as required, to clarify scope, schedule progress, cost tracking and forecasting, and execution planning and status.
  • Own project scope and deliverables.
  • Own cost tracking and schedule progressing.
  • Own reporting for leadership audiences.
  • Ensure stakeholder compliance with pH7 specifications, quality, and safety standards.
  • Complete other project tasks as required by leadership.
