About The Position
We are seeking a Project Manager - Metal Fabrication to oversee projects in our services department related to surface protection and wear management solutions at our Menomonee Falls facility. The ideal candidate will have prior experience and/or knowledge in metal fabrication/welding. The Project Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Requirements
- Prior experience and/or knowledge in metal fabrication/welding
Responsibilities
- Lead projects related to anti-wear solutions and mechanical manufacturing for industrial clients
- Analyze the technical needs of clients and recommend the most suitable solution
- Prepare quotes for potential projects
- Support sales team in developing projects for key industry clients and managing client communications
- Analyze potential risks in projects
- Plan and coordinate the different phases of projects: material selection, implementation, scheduling and performance validation
- Communicate and coordinate with production team to optimize workflow
- Oversee logistics and procurement of materials and equipment
- Develop, maintain and manage timelines and budgets
- Develop and adapt internal standard documents to meet industry needs
- Potential travel to customer sites – 10%
- Other tasks as defined
