About The Position

Michels Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for their Marine Operations team. This role involves managing a phase of a large complex project or multiple medium-sized marine construction projects ranging from approximately $1M to $50M. The Project Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to ensure objectives are met within the specified time frame and budget. Marine Operations provides services such as mechanical and hydraulic dredging, commercial diving, and lock and dam repair, contributing to marine sustainability.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of both
Ability to be on the water performing work in varying conditions
Position requires extensive travel throughout the United States (50% or more)

Nice To Haves

Project Management experience in Marine Construction or Heavy Civil is desired
Experience with B2W, Microsoft Project, and AutoCad a plus but not required

Responsibilities

Manage a phase of a large complex project or manage multiple medium sized marine construction projects that are approximately greater than $1M and are up to $50M.
Plan, direct and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
