About The Position

We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee, manage and coordinate all operational aspects of department projects impacting multiple areas at a biopharmaceutical manufacturing site in Juncos, Puerto Rico. This role serves as the liaison between the project team and the department, driving projects from planning through completion.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree; OR Master's degree + 2 years of project management experience; OR Bachelor's degree + 4 years of project management experience; OR Associate's degree + 8 years of project management experience; OR High school diploma/GED + 10 years of project management experience
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, priorities and projects simultaneously and work under time pressure
  • Effective in a team or matrix environment; team player, self-starter and strategic thinker
  • Organized, detail-oriented and analytical
  • Fluent business English and Spanish, written and oral; strong presentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Ariba Sourcing and Contracting modules
  • Experience with SAP, Trackwise and project management tools
  • Change control experience
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of assigned projects: planning, implementation, monitoring, completion and follow-up.
  • Manage competing timelines, prioritize critical tasks and anticipate schedule slips, costs and resource impacts.
  • Maintain the master project plan and schedule; maintain and track project budgets and resources.
  • Assess project issues and develop solutions to meet quality, productivity and business objectives.
  • Implement tools and processes that enable informed decision making within the teams.
  • Liaise with department staff and team leaders to gather input and feedback on project needs and issues.
  • Generate periodic updates, reports and formal presentations.
  • Ensure project work complies with regulatory requirements, policies and standard operating procedures.
