About The Position

Clean Power Alliance (CPA) is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Project Manager, Load Flexibility to join its Customer Programs team. This role will oversee key aspects of program implementation and delivery, focusing initially on EV Smart Charge and Power Response Non-Residential programs, with potential expansion to other load flexibility initiatives. The position involves coordinating program enrollment, monitoring project progress, implementing enhancements, managing vendors, and handling stakeholder communications. It also provides cross-program coordination for day-to-day activities within the load flexibility portfolio, aiming for alignment and consistency in event and load modification strategies, and communication with vendors and customers.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience working on programs and initiatives to advance load flexibility, such as demand response, distributed energy resources (DERs), virtual power plants (VPPs), and/or EV managed charging.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of EV managed charging, smart thermostats, solar, home batteries, and other flexible load solutions is preferred.
  • Specific experience in CCA or utility program/project implementation, knowledge of resiliency and grid management, electrification, and/or local energy procurement is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration of load flexibility program enrollment processes.
  • Oversee project invoicing and tracking of deliverables.
  • Coordinate project reporting.
  • Manage program tracking systems and reporting related to performance metrics, budgets, contractor scopes of work, and deliverables.
  • Develop and refine operational processes.
  • Manage customer survey efforts.
  • Analyze stakeholder and customer feedback and implement improvements.
  • Manage relationships with customers, member agencies, vendors, and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate program activities across internal teams and external partners.
  • Facilitate communication and resolve operational issues.
  • Prepare and present program updates, budget summaries, and program design recommendations.
  • Track industry best practices and emerging market trends to inform program development.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance program offerings.
  • Contribute to program planning by developing project plans, timelines, and implementation strategies.
  • Oversee the tracking and evaluation of program performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analyses.
  • Analyze program outcomes and operational data.
  • Manage the collection, analysis, and communication of project data.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop data collection approaches and reporting frameworks.
  • Collaborate with marketing and community outreach teams to develop and implement strategies for customer recruitment and participation.
  • Contribute to the development of outreach materials and messaging.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
