RSI is currently recruiting a Project Manager Information Technology for our client in Chattanooga. This role will integrate directly with TVA technology teams, the Enterprise Project Management Office, and business unit stakeholders to lead Joint Project Teams (JPTs), driving technology solutions from concept and business case development through deployment, hypercare, and operational handover. Candidate will lead project activities from charter development, business and technical requirements intake, and business case development through solution design, development or configuration, testing, deployment, post-go-live stabilization, and transition to operations. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, direction, management, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects according to specifications, within budget cost from initiation through completion. The Project Manager leads Joint Project Teams (JPTs), applies professional principles, practices and techniques to manage and control project schedule, cost and performance risk to ensure project is completed within a certain set of restraints (e.g., time, budget, people, quality, materials) and a high level of quality. This role is generally assigned medium-sized projects, or functions within a larger project. Work is primarily achieved by an individual, or through project teams. The Project Manager is the single point of contact regarding a specific project and assumes the leadership role in safely managing the project. Work and results primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the incumbent’s ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization where formal authority is not held. Decisions are guided by resource availability and project objectives. This is a remote/hybrid role.
