About The Position

The Project Manager, Innovation & Sustainability, plans, manages, and drives the cross-functional projects that advance team's innovation agenda and sustainability programs. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution — taking the ideas, commitments, and initiatives the team is accountable for and making sure they actually get done. The PM partners closely with the SVP of Innovation & Sustainability and coordinates across Design, Delivery, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales to keep programs on schedule, risks visible, and decisions documented. This is a driver role, not a support role. The person in this seat owns the plan, runs the meetings, and is accountable for outcomes. This role is grounded in team culture: direct, humble, and focused on results over activity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience, including managing cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders.
  • Background in construction, data centers, real estate, technology, or sustainability-adjacent industries preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to run complex programs where scope, schedule, and stakeholders are all moving.
  • PMP certification preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in MS365 (SharePoint, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools (Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar).
  • Familiarity with sustainability frameworks (ESG, carbon accounting, green building) is a plus.
  • Comfort using AI tools to improve personal and team productivity is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, twist, bend, and climb stairs or ladders for extended periods while navigating uneven, unpaved, or obstructed terrain.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Must be able to drive between job sites and access all areas of an active construction zone, including raised platforms, scaffolding, and confined spaces.
  • Must be able to tolerate exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust, and construction-related noise, vibrations, and odors.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and site personnel, and maintain situational awareness in high-activity environments.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety vests, hearing protection, and steel-toe boots, is required.
  • Must have sufficient visual acuity to read drawings, specifications, and safety signage, and to observe site activity.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a professional work environment, including preparing written reports and documentation, conveying information clearly to team members, clients, and stakeholders, and responding appropriately to verbal and written communications related to job duties.
