About The Position

The Project Manager - Industrialization will be responsible for developing and executing project plans aligned with company manufacturing strategies. Requirements

  • Technical post secondary degree
  • 5+ years of Aerospace work experience in an Engineering/Methods/Manufacturing Environment
  • In depth technical knowledge of Aerospace Manufacturing Systems, Aerospace Engineering Systems and the aircraft
  • Experience in leading project teams and possess strong project management skills
  • Experience in the identification and implementation of New Manufacturing Technologies
  • Knowledge and experience with Lean concepts with a spirit for continuous improvement
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft engineering drawings
  • Ability to communicate well orally and in writing
  • Ability to manage and act on multiple projects and priorities at one time.

Responsibilities

  • Development, coordination and execution of transformative projects linked to improved production efficiencies
  • Development of manufacturing cell design and plant layout
  • Coordination of projects aligned to company manufacturing capabilities and strategies (Make vs Buy) including business cases
  • Project Governance and Oversight
