As we continue to grow, we're seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive the successful execution of complex Final Control projects from order entry through commissioning. Your Role and Impact: As our Project Manager for Industrial Industries, you'll be the driving force behind the scheduling and execution of complex valve, equipment, services, and integrated solutions projects. You'll manage multiple projects across various Emerson business units, coordinate after-sale opportunities, and serve as the critical link between our internal teams, suppliers, and customers. This is a role for a detail-oriented, deadline-driven professional who thrives on delivering results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering concentration preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in a project engineering or project management role within engineering, manufacturing, construction, or equivalent industry
  • Strong project scoping, planning, budgeting, and schedule management capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions
  • Strong organizational, time management, and follow-through skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and technical product knowledge or demonstrated ability to learn technical products and processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems strongly preferred
  • Experience with MS Project or similar scheduling tools

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with IFS ERP system
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting programs
  • Background in valve, instrumentation, or process control industries

Responsibilities

  • Execute complex valve, equipment, services, and integrated solutions orders from receipt of customer purchase order through shipment, startup, and commissioning
  • Create and manage internal project schedules, budgets, milestones, and project reviews to meet delivery commitments
  • Drive both internal and external supplier/vendor organizations and customers to meet milestone schedule commitments
  • Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities across project teams
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scope
  • Minimize risk and exposure through proactive issue identification and resolution
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Effectively apply QMS/ISO 9000 processes and Control Associates' project methodology and standards
  • Manage project budgets for materials and labor
  • Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, and utilization
  • Accurately forecast revenue, profitability, and cost-to-completion projections
  • Follow up with clients regarding outstanding invoices as needed
  • Identify business development and add-on sales opportunities within existing projects
  • Lead proposal efforts including project scoping and loss of earnings assessments
  • Manage day-to-day client interactions and set clear expectations
  • Build lasting relationships with client personnel that foster long-term partnerships
  • Collaborate with Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Field Services, Service Centers, and Accounting to resolve project requirements and discrepancies
  • Facilitate project kick-off meetings, status reviews, and team communications
  • Communicate relevant project information effectively to all stakeholders
