The Project Manager III provides strategic leadership for multifaceted, cross-functional, high-impact projects that advance organizational priorities. This role oversees comprehensive project planning, execution, interdepartmental coordination, and stakeholder engagement to ensure deliverables are achieved within approved scope, timelines, and funding parameters. Beyond project delivery, the Project Manager III identifies strategic opportunities to enhance or scale initiatives, providing high-level budget tracking and managing risk to make informed trade-off decisions, developing complex proposals and presenting data-driven recommendations to ensure alignment. This role leads matrixed project teams, mobilizes stakeholders in support of continuous improvement initiatives, and advises leaders on project direction, risks, and investment decisions. The Project Manager III exercises wide latitude for independent judgment and decision-making and plays a key role in shaping project impact and value realization across the organization. SERIES CONCEPT: A project is a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product, service or result. A project is temporary in that it has a defined beginning and end in time, and therefore defined scope and resources. And a project is unique in that it is not a routine operation, but a specific set of operations designed to accomplish a singular goal. So, a project team often includes people who don't usually work together – sometimes from different functional areas and across multiple geographies.
