About The Position

The IT Department is seeking a motivated Senior Project Manager who will be based out of the O’Fallon, MO office with a hybrid schedule of 4 days in the office and 1 remote workday per week. The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for leading multiple concurrent IT projects and strategic initiatives with a primary focus on public‑facing websites, eCommerce platforms, and digital customer experiences. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, marketing, UX, development, security, infrastructure, and external vendors to deliver high‑quality, secure, and scalable digital solutions on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is an experienced project manager who thrives in fast‑paced environments, excels at coordinating cross‑functional teams, and understands the unique demands of customer‑facing web and eCommerce systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) required.
  • Five or more years of IT project management experience delivering complex, cross‑functional initiatives required.
  • Proven experience managing public‑facing websites and/or eCommerce platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform senior‑level business analysis activities alongside project management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and manage multiple simultaneous IT projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and digital strategy.
  • Lead projects related to corporate websites, eCommerce applications, integrations, content platforms, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Own end‑to‑end delivery including scope, schedule, budget, resource planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, and reporting.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for project outcomes, timelines, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure adherence to established SDLC, change management, and governance processes.
  • Lead requirements discovery and clarification through workshops, interviews, and working sessions with business, marketing, and technical stakeholders.
  • Translate business objectives into clear functional and non‑functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze and document current‑state (“as‑is”) and future‑state (“to‑be”) processes, particularly for customer journeys, content workflows, and eCommerce operations.
  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring requirements are well understood, feasible, and aligned with intended outcomes.
  • Define and manage project scope, maintaining traceability between business needs, requirements, and delivered solutions.
  • Proactively assess business impact and risk associated with technical decisions, timeline changes, and solution tradeoffs.
  • Partner closely with development, UX, QA, infrastructure, and security teams to coordinate design, build, testing, and deployment.
  • Manage third‑party vendors and agencies, including scopes of work, timelines, deliverables, and performance expectations.
  • Coordinate testing, deployment, and post‑launch support activities to ensure smooth releases for public‑facing systems.
  • Ensure solutions meet business expectations for usability, performance, accessibility, security, and reliability.
  • Provide clear, concise project status reporting, highlighting progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions required.
  • Facilitate decision‑making by presenting options, tradeoffs, and recommendations in business‑friendly language.
  • Validate delivered solutions against defined acceptance criteria and intended business outcomes.
  • Capture lessons learned and recommend improvements to discovery, planning, and delivery practices.
