About The Position

We are seeking a high-performing Project Manager / Individual Contributor to accelerate execution across our Data & AI go-to-market function. This role sits at the intersection of strategic project management and hands-on delivery, requiring someone who can move fluidly between driving cross-functional initiatives and rolling up their sleeves to execute independently. The ideal candidate is a Racker who brings familiarity with the Rackspace ecosystem and a genuine curiosity for the fast-evolving Data and AI landscape.

Requirements

Solid working knowledge of Rackspace products, services, and internal operating model.
Ability to navigate the organization effectively to pull the right resources and stakeholders into project work.
Sufficient understanding of Data and AI concepts, trends, and terminology to comprehend GTM strategies, evaluate task relevance, and communicate credibly with technical and business stakeholders.
Genuine curiosity and commitment to continuously deepening knowledge in this rapidly evolving space.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines and stakeholders.
Strong organizational instincts — able to create structure where ambiguity exists and drive toward clarity.
Self-starter mindset with the ability to scan a broad task landscape, identify priorities, and act without being told what to do next.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences including C-suite.
Demonstrated confidence in presenting recommendations and action plans to senior leadership with strategic framing.
Be timely, direct, and solution-oriented with both written and verbal communication.
Advanced PowerPoint skills: ability to build compelling, executive-quality decks from scratch.
Advanced Excel skills: proficiency in data analysis, tracking dashboards, formulas, and structured reporting.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end project management for multiple concurrent GTM initiatives, bringing structure, clear timelines, and accountability from kickoff through delivery.
Independently assess competing workstreams, identify critical paths, and apply sound judgment to sequence and prioritize tasks for maximum execution velocity.
Proactively surface risks, blockers, and dependencies, and drive resolution without waiting for direction.
Manage the competing needs and expectations of multiple internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, product teams, sales, and marketing.
Establish and maintain clear communication cadences — status updates, decision logs, and action tracking — so all parties remain aligned and accountable.
Build and sustain credibility as a reliable point of contact who closes the loop and follows through consistently.
Translate complex project dynamics into concise, persuasive narratives for leadership audiences, confidently recommending course corrections or next steps grounded in strategic intent.
Prepare and deliver high-quality executive-facing materials using PowerPoint and Excel, including project dashboards, GTM readiness trackers, and business case analyses.
Model effective, timely communication behaviors for the broader team, setting the standard for clarity, responsiveness, and professionalism.
Maintain personal accountability for managing scope, quality, and stakeholder expectations throughout the lifecycle of each initiative.
Establish lightweight governance structures (decision logs, RACI, milestone tracking) that keep projects on track without bureaucratic overhead.
Ensure deliverables meet the standard of excellence expected by internal stakeholders and reflect the strategic intent of the organization.
