Project Manager III- Commercial Water
About The Position
The Project Manager III will lead all aspects of the project life cycle, including planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery. The role manages project planning, resourcing, staffing, and progress reporting for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, using the Stage Gate Process and project management tools to track milestones, budgetary guidelines, and other performance indicators. The position supports Rheem North America and may be based in Fort Smith, Arkansas; Indianapolis, Indiana; Oxnard, California; or Atlanta (Roswell), Georgia. It follows a hybrid work arrangement, with employees working in the office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- At least 5 years of work experience with project management responsibilities within a manufacturing organization.
- Experience with Microsoft Project and/or Smartsheet.
- Strong project management skills, including developing timelines, project milestones, status reporting, and issue resolution.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with varying stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- PMP certification.
- HVAC or appliances industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cross-functional project execution using project management expertise.
- Coordinate with internal and external global teams to ensure assigned projects are delivered on time.
- Ensure projects align with approved designs and project specifications.
- Elevate key concerns and issues for resolution.
- Track project status and report at NPI review meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
