About The Position

CLMI Group is seeking an experienced TDIP IT Liaison to serve as the central point of integration between Airport IT project teams, Airport Operations, and key stakeholders at Los Angeles International Airport. This role is embedded in LAWA's Terminal Development & Improvement Program (TDIP) and requires deep operational knowledge of LAX, a strong command of airport technology systems, and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple terminals in a live, active airport environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience at LAX or a comparable large hub airport, understands how IT infrastructure ties into day-to-day terminal operations, and has a track record of keeping complex, multi-party projects moving without disrupting airline operations.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of professional experience, preferably on airport or large-scale aviation projects
  • Proven experience in Airport Operations at a major hub — LAX experience strongly preferred
  • Deep knowledge of airport technology systems: SITA, FIDS, AODB, BHS, kiosks, gate/terminal equipment
  • Experience in contractor management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional coordination
  • Ability to translate operational needs into technology-driven solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable with both technical and executive audiences
  • Proficiency with PMWeb, Bluebeam, Adobe Pro, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, or related field required

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Airport IT project teams, Airport Operations, and key stakeholders including airline partners, LAWA departments, and contractors
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across all parties; ensure IT initiatives are coordinated with operational requirements across multiple terminals
  • Provide timely updates on project status, milestones, risks, and dependencies
  • Identify and mitigate operational impacts resulting from IT project activities
  • Coordinate contractors on scheduling, execution, and compliance with operational requirements
  • Participate in project meetings, site walks, and operational briefings
  • Track project progress, action items, and deliverables
  • Support integration of airport equipment and systems with IT infrastructure
  • Escalate risks, gaps, and coordination challenges as appropriate
