About The Position

This role is responsible for leading highly complex, large-scale nuclear projects and multidisciplinary teams in support of critical construction, outage, maintenance, and implementation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience managing high-risk nuclear or industrial projects, strong technical oversight capabilities, and advanced project scheduling expertise.

Requirements

  • Advanced project management experience supporting nuclear or large industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) processes.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software is required.
  • Strong understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), budgeting, forecasting, and project controls.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams in fast-paced, high-risk environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of nuclear work management processes, outage execution, and ASME standards preferred.
  • Nuclear industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting renewable energy, utility, or heavy industrial projects is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale nuclear projects and programs exceeding $10M in total project value.
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams supporting engineering, procurement, construction, outage, and implementation activities.
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, risk management, and project controls activities.
  • Perform technical reviews of project schedules, work packages, risk registers, implementation strategies, testing plans, and turnover documentation.
  • Ensure Work Order Tasks (WOTs) meet quality and compliance standards prior to field execution.
  • Provide field oversight and execution support during online and outage activities.
  • Identify schedule risks, resource constraints, and execution challenges while developing mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate closely with vendors, construction teams, engineering groups, and project leadership.
  • Participate in high-level project meetings including readiness reviews, steering committees, implementation briefings, and risk management sessions.
  • Mentor junior project managers and provide leadership guidance across project teams.
