The Position: Responsible for leading cross-functional coordination between PAC design, ABU engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful execution of new product introductions and ongoing product support. This role plays a critical bridge function across organizations, driving alignment, resolving issues in real time, and ensuring on-time delivery with optimized cost and quality. Lead cross-functional coordination across PAC, ABU (Osaka), and manufacturing sites (PP/LF/MXO) to support new product development and production readiness. Manage prototype builds, including schedule and quantity control, and ensure smooth execution of pilot runs. Drive resolution of design changes and unexpected issues for both new and existing products through real-time collaboration across teams. Support manufacturability (DFM/FAI) activities and ensure alignment between design and manufacturing requirements. Facilitate PACMAN program coordination, including progress tracking, decision alignment, and executive reporting. Improve operational efficiency by reducing rework, delays, and cost impacts through proactive coordination and issue management. Support communication and alignment across global teams, including frequent interaction with Osaka teams. The salary range of $119,000 – $199,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. The final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, product development, or manufacturing engineering.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of DFM, FAI, and prototype build processes.
  • Ability to drive real-time decision-making across global teams.
  • Strong communication skills across engineering and manufacturing organizations.
  • Experience working in global, cross-cultural environments.
  • All candidates must have valid authorization to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in aerospace or complex product development environment preferred.
  • Japanese language capabilities are desirable to assist with cross-functional coordination with the Osaka team.
