About The Position

The Project Manager II role at FIRST ONSITE involves overseeing restoration and rebuild projects from estimation to completion. This position requires managing work from start to finish, solving challenges, and delivering results. The role involves leading teams, building relationships, and driving projects to completion with precision and professionalism. The Project Manager will scope losses, prepare detailed estimates, manage budgets, ensure profitability and schedule adherence, coordinate teams and subcontractors, maintain safety and quality standards, engage with clients (homeowners, adjusters, insurers), proactively identify and solve issues, and mentor junior project managers and supervisors.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager I or equivalent experience in restoration or construction.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of restoration and construction practices, safety regulations, and building codes.
  • Experience reading plans, developing scopes, and negotiating with clients and adjusters.
  • Skilled communicator with strong organization and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, mobile applications, and Xactimate.
  • IICRC certifications: WRT and FSRT.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract.
  • Ability to complete work activities which may include physical labour, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces).

  • Xactimate Level 2 certification.
