About The Position

The Project Manager II is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing facilities and infrastructure projects that support mission-critical operations. This role manages project schedules, facilitates stakeholder coordination, tracks project execution, monitors performance metrics, and supports facilities operations from planning through completion. The Project Manager II works closely with government personnel, customers, service providers, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule, meet quality standards, and support operational readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant project management experience.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and schedules in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Requires the applicant to possess and maintain an active Secret clearance for the position.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or other federal government programs.
  • Familiarity with facilities, construction, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the Facilities Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), ensuring project milestones, dependencies, and deadlines are accurately tracked.
  • Coordinate facilities projects, walkthroughs, and schedules with customers, service providers, and Program Managers.
  • Support move management activities by reviewing Move Task Lists (MTLs), verifying data accuracy, and tracking project completion.
  • Coordinate command events and support continuity of operations during facility disruptions or emergencies.
  • Maintain facility asset inventories and update electronic location maps using AutoCAD.
  • Assist with the review of facility designs and support repair, renovation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct project site visits, identify issues, and provide reports with recommended corrective actions.
  • Monitor project metrics, respond to data requests, and prepare monthly facilities performance reports.
  • Track and follow up on Facilities Service Desk requests to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with government personnel, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet customer requirements.
  • Operate Government-Owned Vehicles (GOVs) as required to support contract performance.
