About The Position

Rivet Operations Company "Rivet" has an opening for an Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team in San Diego, CA. The Project Manager will support the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command by providing command operations professional support services. Rivet is a leader in physical and cyber security, financial management, logistics, and facilities management.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, and Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and other design and mapping software of assets

  • Bachelor’s level degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of professional experience in security environment
  • Must be a US Citizen able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for the position
  • Applicants must have the experience, education, or training that demonstrates the ability to follow directions, to read, understand, and retain a variety of instructions, regulations, and procedures.
  • Applicants must demonstrate the ability or have endorsements that indicate the ability to learn and perform the cited position's duties.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of security classification methods, concepts, eligibility for access to classified or sensitive information and the process for granting personnel security clearances/accesses, and knowledge of commonly applied security principles, concepts, and methodologies in carrying out information, personnel, and physical security programs related to the protection of SCI.
  • Specialist should have knowledge of the methods of performing such duties as conducting inspections and investigations, collecting and analyzing information, etc., and skill in weighing the impact of variables such as critical personnel qualifications, variations in building construction characteristics, access and entry restrictions, equipment availability, and other issues that influence the course of actions taken in resolving security questions and issues.
  • Position requires applicant to be a US Citizen and able to obtain the required security clearance for the position.

Responsibilities

  • Identify deficiencies around the facility and take corrective actions to fix concerns.
  • Coordinate with facility entities to input trouble tickets and ensure repairs are completed.
  • Performs day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, possibly involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations.
  • Organizes, directs and coordinates the planning and production of all contract support activities.
  • Has authority and responsibility to identify and commit resources required to support effort.
  • Provide a consolidated project schedule that is updated frequently.
  • Ensure projects are listed with milestones and dependencies.
  • Maintain timetables and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Respond to interruptions of business operations to mitigate damage and restore normal operations.
  • Maintain an accurate electronic inventory of identified assets.
  • Review designs, implement new processes and improvements in operations with stakeholders.
  • Review designs, implement new processes, and support continuous improvement for the duration of the project.
  • Perform site visits to ensure compliance with scope of work, note discrepancies, and create reports to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Perform risk assessments affecting successful project completion and employee work environment.
  • Support safety operations and programs designed to maintain OSHA compliance.
  • Maintain compliance with all Operational Security, Information Assurance, and Foreign Disclosure programs.
  • Responsible for all deliverables for the project including written documentation, briefing materials, studies, meeting minutes, and various reports.
  • Conduct daily building walks to monitor the operation and condition of the facility.
  • Monitor for services desk request resolution.
  • Conduct energy surveys by building every week and provide weekly summary to the Facility Manager.
  • Coordinate the completion of services desk request with customer, submit maintenance work orders in various work order systems, and support walkthroughs and final project punch-list tasks as part of the Move Management Support team.
