About The Position

Vertech is seeking a Project Manager II with Data Center experience to join their team. This role is responsible for the profitable and successful delivery of automation projects, establishing and maintaining project plans including scope, schedule, cash-flow, budget, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, able to manage client expectations, negotiate change orders, and work with accounting on project financials. Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree preferably in a technical field such as mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering or equivalent experience (2+ years)
At least 5 years of experience in the Industrial Automation industry.
At least 2 years of Data Center experience

Responsibilities

Responsible for the profitable and successful delivery of automation projects.
Establish and maintain plans for the success of automation projects including scope, schedule, cash-flow, budget, and client satisfaction.
Monitor and direct the work of project team members.
Communicate status with clients.
Negotiate change orders with clients.
Manage client expectations.
Work with accounting on project financials, progress for revenue recognition and invoicing.
