About The Position

Hill International is seeking a Project Manager I in San Diego, California. This role provides leadership for the planning, development, and implementation of small-scale, low-complexity business and technology projects. The Project Manager I will collaborate with internal departments, stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and vendors to define requirements, assess alternatives, and present solutions to business challenges. This position is responsible for budget and resource planning and serves as the single point of contact for all economic and regulatory issues for the assigned projects. The role involves developing and maintaining project parameters for project requirements and managing all activities leading to the successful completion of large-scale, major strategic projects, including project scoping, timelines, cost estimates, and design. Building business cases and project justifications is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

B.S. in Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent field; equivalent experience with customer approval.
Minimum 3-5 years experience providing direct project management pertaining to construction projects: Electrical/Gas Substation, Compressor, Transmission, Distribution, IT, or Civil projects.
Must be able to assess the potential financial impact of a project to the Company.
Must possess the ability to review complex problems and propose innovative solutions.
Must be able to build solid business cases/project justifications.
Must be local to San Diego, CA and willing to work a hybrid schedule.

Nice To Haves

PMP preferred, Agile or other Program Management certifications, training or demonstrated experience with customer approval.

Responsibilities
