The Project Manager will serve as a key operational leader across a portfolio of clinical research studies focused on diabetic retinal disease (DRD), with primary responsibility for coordinating multicenter clinical studies across diverse primary care and ophthalmology settings. This position requires exceptional organizational ability, strong knowledge of clinical trial regulatory requirements, and the interpersonal skills necessary to coordinate effectively across multiple clinical sites, sponsor contacts, and internal research personnel. The ideal candidate brings prior experience managing IRB submissions, multi-site study logistics, and clinical data systems, and is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced academic research environment. This position is part-time to full time, 80-100% . It is anticipated that this position will be remote and requires work be performed at an offsite, non-campus work location. This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding. This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
