About The Position

The Project Manager I is responsible for supporting and managing projects of various complexities throughout Supply Chain including Logistics, Planning, and Procurement. They are responsible for leading project teams, driving the execution of work packages and action items according to established timelines, and ensuring effective communication across all stakeholders. This role collaborates closely with team members to ensure a continuous supply of materials for both legacy and new products. The Project Manager I oversees various administrative aspects of project management, including maintaining schedules, documentation, trackers, and reports, as well as recording and distributing meeting minutes. This position typically requires 3+ years of previous experience as a Project Manager. This individual needs to be self-motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of coordinating cross-functional activities between Supply Chain and interdisciplinary project teams. The Project Manager I collaborates with all areas of Supply Chain, Logistics, Production, Operations, Product Management, external suppliers, the SIG leadership team, and various internal SIG departments.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent, or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Typically 3+ years of previous experience as a Project Manager required.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership experience in a team-oriented environment.
Strong organizational, planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of coordinating cross-functional activities.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams), Oracle and Monday.com required.
Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form.
Ability to complete assigned tasks on time.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities/projects simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

Bachelors degree preferred.
MS Project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute projects and sub-projects of varying complexity.
Drive and monitor daily progress of project tasks and work packages to ensure alignment with project schedules.
Communicate detailed project updates to executives, managers, directors, team members, and key stakeholders.
Create, organize, and maintain comprehensive project documentation, trackers, reports, and other key artifacts.
Analyze data to maintain Supply Chain inventory and records.
Lead project meetings, assign action items, and establish timelines.
Manage component launches for Supply Chain, ensuring internal efforts and external suppliers are prepared for launch.
Manage administrative tasks for projects, including but not limited to supporting management of the project schedule.
Confer with other departments to determine progress of work.
May be asked to cover for Project Manager IIs in their absence.
Will travel to all NH facilities. Additional travel occasionally, as required.
Engage in and actively volunteer for Continuous Improvement projects/tasks.
Communicate effectively to supervision regarding problems and corrective action.
Participate in 5S workplace organizational activities and maintain the area in good working order through sustainment activities.
Must follow all required Safety and ISO procedures.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
