About The Position

The Project Manager I plans, monitors, and manages engineering projects from initiation through completion, with support from more experienced resources. The role leads project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting, and people management to ensure results meet technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost requirements. Projects are typically small growth or maintenance capital projects, and the position coordinates internal and external resources across the company and with vendors, contractors, and customers. The role supports the delivery of pipeline and facility projects, including projects involving plant and process facility design, pipeline design and construction, measurement and control facilities, gas treating and compressor facilities, product storage and handling facilities, SCADA, DCS and PLC control systems, and processing equipment. The posting states that candidates must have prior project management experience leading at least one DOT 192/195-regulated pipeline or facility project with a budget exceeding $50 million; experience managing multiple projects over $100 million is described as ideal. The Project Manager develops business cases, scopes, estimates, schedules, cost plans, risk analyses, interface and stakeholder plans, and project control and change-management procedures. The position also supports procurement, contracting, construction, commissioning, startup, regulatory compliance, and project execution, while leading teams and communicating with stakeholders. A bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related field is listed, and experience at the PM I level is typically attained with five or more years of experience in engineering, operations, and/or project management.
