About The Position

The Project Manager will help us manage an expanding project portfolio in an organized, efficient and sustainable manner. This position will support our Project Teams by helping to organize, coordinate and track all logistics associated with the development of our training and media products. The Project Manager will be directly accountable for project delivery performance, including adherence to approved budgets, schedules, and profitability targets. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has exceptional time management skills, communicates effectively and is eager to grow their skills in project management.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to learn and use Microsoft Project for the Web for Project Tracking.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office tools, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
  • Project planning, time management and other project management skills.
  • Associate Degree, or relevant certification program
  • 1+ year of experience in Project Coordination or Project Management

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • PMI certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Through strong project leadership, organization, and client advocacy – ensure our projects are being delivered on-time and on-budget.
  • Collaborate with Directors, stakeholders and contributors to develop and track project plans, which may include providing support to:
  • Define project scope, objectives and deliverables
  • Establish tasks and required resources
  • Create project schedule and timeline
  • Monitor, track and report project status
  • Identify problems/ barriers to project success and develop solutions
  • Ensure overall quality and compliance of project documentation and file management
  • Evaluate and assess project results
  • Set up project plans according to procedure, including completion of required project documents; create and populate file management folders; enter tasks and milestones into appropriate tools; and, more as required.
  • Track project tasks and deliverables using appropriate tools, constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
  • Support multiple projects with varying timelines, deliverables and contributors.
  • Coordinate and meet with project team members to monitor progress and help identify needed resources.
  • Contribute to proposal preparation, SOW development, and project plans.
  • Participate in meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Own overall responsibility for managing project budgets, timelines, and profitability to ensure projects are completed within scope and financial targets. Proactively forecast, monitor, and report on project financials, and take corrective actions as needed to stay within budget.
  • Working knowledge of budgeting and financial tracking in project environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project cost, schedule, and scope with a focus on delivering profitable outcomes.
  • Other duties as assigned or required to meet the business needs.
