About The Position

We are seeking experienced Project Managers to join a growing heavy civil construction team. This role will manage multiple projects from planning through closeout, with typical project values of $2M–$10M and durations of 6 months to 2 years. This is an opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys solving unique challenges, taking ownership, and working in a hands-on environment rather than a highly corporate setting.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of Project Management experience in heavy civil, wastewater, dam work, excavation, process piping, or a closely related industry
• Candidates without direct industry experience should have 5–7+ years of PM experience
• Experience managing $2M+ projects from start to finish
• Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints
• Understanding of survey work
• Willingness to travel to job sites throughout the Northeast; most travel is day-trip based

Nice To Haves

• PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage 3–4 projects simultaneously from planning through closeout
• Oversee schedules, budgets, costs, and project deliverables
• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, owners, and internal teams
• Conduct project meetings and monitor overall project progress
• Ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with safety expectations
• Use Procore and Oracle/P6 for project management and scheduling
