Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience managing architecture-related projects, with at least 3 years focused on healthcare projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing healthcare project scope, schedules, budgets, teams, consultants, and client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare facility design and delivery, including work in active clinical or hospital environments.
  • Knowledge of applicable building codes and healthcare regulatory requirements
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing support, staffing plans, and project performance tracking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, client management, collaboration, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use sound, independent judgment and resolve complex project challenges effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Architectural Registration strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Deltek or comparable project management and financial management software preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Revit, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or related design and documentation tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of multiple small to mid-sized healthcare projects, from planning and design coordination through documentation, construction administration, and closeout.
  • Lead project delivery to ensure scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations are met.
  • Coordinate project workplans, staffing needs, milestones, deliverables, and internal deadlines with firm leadership and project teams.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks early, and implement solutions that support efficient and technically feasible execution.
  • Maintain design intent, quality standards, and project goals throughout each phase of work.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and ensure efficiency on schedule, budget, scope, and delivery matters.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, follow-through, and solution-oriented project leadership.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and financial performance indicators.
  • Support fee development, scope definition, and project planning in coordination with leadership.
  • Track project performance, revenue forecasts, workplans, billings, invoicing, and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare and coordinate Additional Service Requests when project scope changes occur.
  • Deliver projects at or above expected profit margins while maintaining quality, client satisfaction, and project team effectiveness.
