About The Position

Charles Perry Partners, Inc. (CPPI) is seeking a Project Manager for Healthcare Commercial Construction to manage assigned construction projects from start to finish. This role involves overseeing projects ranging from large-scale to multiple smaller ones concurrently. The Project Manager will be the main contact for internal teams, clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The position requires adherence to CPPI’s operational standards, client expectations, and organizational values, while proactively managing challenges throughout all construction phases. Responsibilities may adapt as the company and project needs evolve. Healthcare construction experience is mandatory, with a strong preference for experience with AHCA-regulated projects.

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction science, engineering, architecture, or related field from an accredited university.
  • 3 years as a construction manager or in a similar position in construction project management.
  • Experience with healthcare commercial construction.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Able to manage a team of employees and multiple projects.
  • Experience in compiling and following strict budgets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail.
  • Goal-oriented and organized leadership.
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
  • In-depth understanding of the construction industry.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with Project Management software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure projects align with CPPI’s operational standards, client expectations, and organizational values.
  • Proactively address challenges throughout all phases of construction.
  • Create multiple timelines, budgets, and schedules.
  • Ensure knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations.
  • Build solid relationships with team members, vendors, and customers.
  • Manage contractual documents, including contracts, schedules, and pay applications.
  • Coordinate the project team.
  • Anticipate and foresee potential issues.
  • Guide the timely approval of submittals and assist in identifying long lead items.
  • Manage the close-out process to ensure timely and organized completion.
  • Manage owner and subcontractor change orders in a timely manner.
  • Attend project meetings, monitor meeting minutes for accuracy, and ensure issues are addressed promptly.
  • Write subcontracts on time.
  • Support the effectiveness of project staff and superintendents through continuous coordination.
  • Monitor and maintain the construction schedule, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Oversee the implementation of the quality control program and adherence to it.
  • Coordinate warranty efforts and manage project warranty/post-occupancy issues.
  • Approve subcontractor and vendor invoices in a timely manner and manage Certified Payroll if required.
  • Manage ODP and LEED programs, if applicable.
  • Assist senior managers in the administration and delivery of pre-construction services.
  • Submit applications for payments to owners in a timely manner and monitor pay processes.
  • Write Owner contracts on time.
  • Manage the permitting process and maintain all required insurance and bonds.
  • Understand and utilize the Company Policy and Procedures Manual and Best Practices Guidelines, including Mastery Forms Library.
  • Participate in ongoing training efforts.
  • Ensure workplace safety and report issues to the project team immediately.
  • Perform other functions as requested.
  • Ensure client needs are exceeded throughout the course of delivery.
