About The Position

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned, highly skilled Project Manager (Geotechnical) to join one of our valued client partners. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this Geotechnical Project Management opportunity. We are seeking a results-driven construction project leader who can successfully manage multiple field and office-based projects, oversee budgets, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and maintain strong client relationships in a demanding, deadline-driven environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in civil, foundation, infrastructure, or geotechnical construction operations and wants long-term career growth. Candidates with jumpy or unstable resumes will not be accepted or interviewed. We are prioritizing professionals with stable tenure, project ownership experience, and proven delivery success.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Project Management experience in geotechnical, civil, heavy construction, foundation, or related industries
  • Proven experience managing multiple simultaneous projects
  • Strong budgeting, cost tracking, and project forecasting skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment averaging 50+ hours per week based on project demands
  • Willingness to travel throughout Florida as needed
  • Comfortable working onsite in Tampa initially and relocating to Brooksville, Florida within 12 months
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Stable employment history with clear progression and project ownership

Nice To Haves

  • Geotechnical construction project experience
  • Department of Transportation (DOT) project background
  • Experience with deep foundations, piles, retaining systems, soil stabilization, shoring, or engineered site solutions
  • Knowledge of estimating, takeoffs, and construction costing
  • Experience leading field crews and subcontractors
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings, site plans, and technical specifications
  • Experience in design-build or custom engineered solution environments

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple geotechnical and construction projects from kickoff through completion
  • Oversee schedules, budgets, labor planning, and resource allocation
  • Conduct regular client meetings to define scope, expectations, and project updates
  • Coordinate internal teams, field personnel, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Develop cost estimates and monitor actual spend versus projected budgets
  • Identify project risks, delays, or cost variances and implement corrective action
  • Prepare detailed progress reports for leadership and customers
  • Support proposal development alongside sales and estimating teams
  • Ensure all work meets engineering standards, customer requirements, and safety expectations
  • Travel throughout Florida for active project oversight and client support
  • Balance approximately 50% office responsibilities and 50% field responsibilities
