About The Position

AIG is making long-term investments in a brand-new, innovative Generative AI team, designed to explore new possibilities for how artificial intelligence can be applied in insurance and beyond. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in owning end-to-end delivery of AI products from planning through launch. You will drive cross-functional teams to execute against roadmaps, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure features ship on time with the right business outcomes. This team is central to our vision of the future and the core of our business offering. Requirements

• A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
• PMP required; CSM or equivalent agile certification preferred
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or similar role in an Agile environment
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, influence, and motivate teams
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle complex issues effectively
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are delivered on time with desired business outcomes
• Develop and maintain execution plans, including timelines, key milestones, and resource capacity management
• Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to define priorities and ensure program alignment with strategic goals
• Manage risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery
• Proactively identify and resolve delivery blockers, escalating risks and dependencies as needed
• Monitor progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and adjusting plans as necessary
• Identify and engage with all relevant stakeholders, including teams, executives, and business users
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Ensure consistent delivery cadence across teams, aligned to program milestones and executive commitments
• Identify and implement process improvements that accelerate delivery and increase team effectiveness
• Collect and analyze metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices
• Foster a positive team environment that promotes productivity, creativity, and high performance
