About The Position

Green Water and Power, a leader in the sustainable energy sector and the #1 electric vehicle (EV) installer in America, is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Foreman. Established in 2013 and operating in over 35 states, the company has deployed over 15,000 EV chargers and completed approximately 5 megawatts (MW) of solar energy projects. As an EVITP certified turnkey EPC firm, Green Water and Power manages and executes large-scale projects with in-house expertise and provides comprehensive operation and maintenance services.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience as an Electrical Foreman or Lead Installer, preferably in EV infrastructure or renewable energy.
  • 2+ years of project management experience on commercial electrical or construction projects, including scheduling and budget tracking.
  • Strong knowledge of the NEC, including Articles 625 and 690.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and single-line diagrams.
  • EVITP Certification or the ability to obtain one.
  • An OSHA 30 certification or the ability to obtain one.
  • Proven experience with EV charger deployment and solar panel and canopy installations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project scheduling tools.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and access to reliable transportation.
  • Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.).
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and safety.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in field and office environments.
  • Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in varying weather conditions.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

  • DIR Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician (preferred).
  • NEC Compliance: Strong knowledge of Article 625 and other relevant NEC standards for EV charging installations.
  • Wiring and Terminations: Experience with 240V/208V circuits, wiring EVSE units to panels, and using torque tools per spec.
  • Conduit and Raceway Work: Skilled in EMT and PVC conduit installation; able to bend, mount, and seal per job specs.
  • Grounding and Bonding: Capable of installing compliant grounding systems for EVSE units and subpanels.
  • Testing and Commissioning: Use of electrical testing tools (multimeter, insulation resistance testers, etc.) for system validation and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial EV charging projects for the entirety of the project.
  • Review plan designs and single-line diagrams with the engineering department; build project schedules and crew plans for each site.
  • Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability and delivery of chargers, materials, and equipment.
  • Obtain and finalize permits; arrange for and conduct inspections with local AHJs and coordinate utility requirements as needed.
  • Schedule and lead preconstruction site walks and postconstruction site inspections.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients: coordinate start times and project schedules, provide regular updates, and resolve concerns promptly.
  • Lead and supervise electrical installations for commercial EV charging systems (AC and DC), working alongside crews in the field.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and other safety and electrical standards.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Lead and mentor Junior and Senior Level EV Installers, providing guidance, technical support, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Promote a culture of safety within the installation teams, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols, procedures, and best practices.
  • Document punch list items, photo document progress, and submit daily status and job closeout reports to management, ensuring projects are on time and on budget.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of project details, installations, maintenance activities, and repairs.
  • Accountable for tools, equipment, and company vehicles, ensuring all are in good working order and that project sites are properly cleaned up.
  • Must be responsive to emails and phone calls from clients, crews, and management.
