About The Position

Omega Technical Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support work at the Hanford Site within a DOE-regulated environment, specifically supporting activities at the 222-S Laboratory. This is a part-time role supporting oversight and coordination of subcontracted project work. The position will require full-time onsite support (2–4 weeks) during active vendor field execution, with part-time support provided outside of those periods. The Project Manager will serve as a key liaison between stakeholders and vendor personnel to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline
  • 10–12+ years of experience in project execution, engineering, or construction
  • General understanding of facility systems, processes, and equipment
  • Ability to interpret: Electrical and mechanical drawings, Blueprints and schematics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments (DOE, nuclear, or similar preferred)

  • Prior experience supporting work at the Hanford Site
  • Experience with subcontractor/vendor oversight
  • Background in facility infrastructure or fire protection systems
  • Familiarity with federal or government contracting environments

Responsibilities

  • Ensure subcontracted work is executed in compliance with defined scope, technical requirements, and project objectives
  • Provide part-time project oversight, with full-time onsite support during active execution windows
  • Perform onsite support activities at the Hanford Site during vendor work periods
  • Lead project kickoff meetings and facilitate weekly status meetings
  • Manage vendor submittals, including tracking, coordination, and disposition
  • Support schedule tracking, reporting, and invoice verification activities
  • Coordinate required site access, onboarding, and training for vendor personnel
  • Arrange and coordinate support resources for onsite execution (technical and field staff)
  • Support vendor onsite walkdowns and execution activities
  • Interface with engineering, operations, and program stakeholders
